The “Girls Girls Girls” social mixer, organized by 21 Magazine and held at Hyde-Park Social House in Lekki Phase 1 on Sunday, April 7, 2024, was a resounding success. It exceeded all expectations and left attendees inspired and empowered.

The event sold out quickly, drawing a full house of enthusiastic participants eager to celebrate and connect with amazing women from diverse backgrounds. With meticulous planning and dedication, the “Girls Girls Girls” team delivered an evening filled with meaningful conversations, engaging activities, and memorable moments.

Event Highlights

We offered a range of enriching activities that resonated with attendees:

  • Panel Discussions: Industry experts led insightful discussions on topics such as networking, beauty and self-care, and sex and sexuality. The panellists, including Katy Sade Adebayo, Hillary Omitogun, Subuola Oyeleye, Angel Anosike, Amanda Iheme, Jennifer Nnoli, Olori Coitus, Loliaba, and Funmbi Toye, captivated the audience with their expertise and perspectives.
  • Friendship Speed Dating: Attendees connected with like-minded women in a relaxed and fun environment, fostering meaningful relationships and sparking new connections.

  • Networking Activities: Opportunities to build stronger networks and connections within the community were abundant, creating a supportive and empowering atmosphere.
  • Refreshments: Guests enjoyed a diverse selection of culinary delights prepared by Chef Wu of Ounje and indulged in delightful red and white wines, enhancing the celebratory ambience.
  • Prizes and Awards: The event recognized excellence with awards for Best Dressed, Social Butterfly, and Best Content created at GGG, adding a touch of excitement and recognition for attendees’ contributions.

The event’s success was also attributed to the outstanding work of our volunteers who contributed significantly to the seamless execution of activities. Their dedication and enthusiasm ensured that guests had a memorable experience throughout the event.

Our moderator, Chenaniah Bamishile, deserves special recognition for her exceptional hosting skills. She kept the audience engaged and entertained throughout the evening, and her ability to create a lively and inclusive atmosphere contributed significantly to the overall success of “Girls Girls Girls.”

Founder’s Address and Community Impact

The highlight of the evening was the founder’s address, where Fifunmi Osinubi reiterated 21 Magazine’s commitment to creating inclusive spaces that foster community and empowerment for women throughout Africa.
