“We,” “Our,” or “Us” is a publication with a strong focus on women, striving to craft enduring, captivating, and relatable material that specifically targets young adults and meets the unique needs of African women. At its essence, 21 Mag is dedicated to offering women with inspiration and guidance through both content and community, all the while openly documenting women’s narratives. 

When You Agree to the Terms

Once you come on our website, and if you wish to collaborate, sponsor, or contribute to the stories we share, you automatically agree to our Terms and Conditions and let us know you comply with them. In addition, this is subject to our Privacy Policy, to which you consent to its terms.

Age Restriction

To collaborate, sponsor, or share your stories, you MUST be 18 years and over – no exceptions.

You are referred to as an individual or a business entity. If using our Services as a business or entity, you let us know that you have the legal rights to do so. You represent and warrant the following:

We do not grant you any right, interest, license, or title to any of our intellectual property you may or may not have access to.

YOU AGREE TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS SHALL EXCLUDE OR LIMIT OUR LIABILITY FOR LOSSES WHICH MAY NOT BE LAWFULLY EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW. WE BEAR NO LIABILITY OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM THE STORIES WE SHARE ACROSS OUR PLATFORMS. 

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The 21 Magazine, its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and advisors from all claims, costs, liabilities, damages, losses,, and expense (including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees and expenses) arising out of or in connection with any breach by you (or any user of your account for any of the Services) of these Terms, including but not limited to a breach of your obligations, representation and warranties.

General

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will do our best to notify you of any material changes via the email address provided when you subscribed. The most current version will always be found on our website www.the21mag.com. You also agree to be bound by any changes made to the Terms.

Severability

If it is found by any court of law or jurisdiction, that any provisions of these Terms have become invalid, unenforceable, or illegal, then that particular provision(s) shall be removed without affecting the rest of the Terms, and the remaining provisions in the Terms shall continue to be valid and enforceable. 

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed in all respects laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the State and Federal Courts for the resolution of any dispute.
