12 Women On The Body ‘Imperfection’ They Are Most Insecure About

We all have our insecurities. Yes, even your favorite Instagram influencers/celebrities have them.

Even that girl you think has it all together, has her own insecurities. We’re constantly looking down on physical attributes we hate about ourselves, when another person would kill to have the feature we can’t stand. The point we’re trying to make? Nobody is perfect.

In this article, we’ve asked a few women to share the body ‘imperfection’ they are most insecure about, even though its all perfectly normal.

1. Tami, 24

I’ve always been so insecure about my Vulva, its really fat! (Lol) but I think I’m growing to love it just the way it is. Plus you know what they say about fat Vaginas.

2. Chi, 20

I hate my Areola’s. They are so big and round, they take up all the space on my breasts. I always wished I had tinier nipples, but sadly I don’t.

3. Ose, 25

My acne. Its never fun being the only girl in the room with pimples all over her face. Especially when you’re around women with flawless skin who seem like they have their shit together.

4. Sandra, 26

My big feet. Especially because women should have small feet. I get insecure around people and even my partner, because in my head I’m like Is he looking at my feet? are they making fun of my feet? I hate it.

5. Esther, 19

Definitely my nose. It’s gigantic and just huge. I mean its my nose so its been this way all my life and I’ve gotten used to how big it is, but I still get insecure sometimes.

6. Keji, 22

I love being tall but at the same time I hate it. What’s even worse is, almost all my friends are shorter than me so I always feel like a giant around people. At least if I were a model, that one would have been better.

7. Lillian, 27

I hate hate hate my stretchmarks. I know everyone says its normal, but unless you have them all over your body, you have no idea how bad and insecure it makes you feel. It makes me feel less confident in myself and now I don’t even like wearing short dresses or skirts because of the stretchmarks on my thighs.

8. Joy, 24

I really hate how uneven my toes are. LIKEEE, why do they have to be like that (Lol). I try so hard to avoid wearing sandal heels and just mainly stick to sneakers most of the time because these toes really aren’t my prettiest feature.

9. Eni, 25

My breasts. You open social media and all you see are perky boobs everywhere. I’m not saying I hate my breasts, I just don’t like them. They are saggy and too far apart for my liking.

10. Christabel, 26

So I have fat arms. I’m not a big girl, which is even worse because if I had the weight, it will probably look better. I just think it makes my body look weird and because of that, I run away from wearing sleeveless tops and tank tops.

11. Oge, 24

I know they say to embrace your fupa but its not easy abeg. And I like food. I’ve tried exercising regularly and wearing waist trainers but it has refused to go so what’s a girl to do? hopefully my little pudge disappears soonest.

12. Sayo, 22

I have no ass. In a society today that glorifies women with hourglass figures and very big bums, its tough. I actually found myself recently researching what it takes to get a BBL done (even though I know I would never actually go through with it. With what funds even?) because my ass is flat flat and I’m so insecure about it.
