10 Movies That Were So Bad, I Couldn’t Even Finish Watching Them

There have been some phenomenal movies out there, and there have been some major fails. The films on this list were so bad that I couldn’t bring myself to finishing them. From terrible plots to bad acting, to straying away from the storyline to just having very unnecessary uninteresting scenes, I just couldn’t.

Here are ten films and tv shows I couldn’t bear finishing:

1/ Uncut Gems

The story line was all over the place and the trailer oversold the movie. Weirdly I’m sure people will disagree with this and say it was a good movie or a cinematic masterpiece but it really wasn’t. It had no plot, the dialogue was horrible and hard to follow, and the whole movie just made me uncomfortable. That role wasn’t a perfect fit for Adam Sandler.

2/ 365 Days

https://youtu.be/TL1yxRJ_NK0

This movie was so weird and honestly disgusting to watch. I mean, this man literally kidnapped a woman and was violent towards her just so she could fall in love with him. Very scary if you ask me. I tried watching it twice but I just couldn’t get through it. I finally summoned the will power to just read the plot of the movie and the ending was so horrible.

3/ Swiped

Really terrible acting and writing. I think everyone at Netflix got lazy and just wanted to put out a movie for the sake of it. This film portrayed women as people who are incapable of making their own decisions whatsoever (I know sometimes we get very indecisive, but still!)

4/ Eat Pray Love

I adore Julia Roberts, but it was hard to sit through this movie. So many things were happening at the same time, It was frankly so boring. The plot of the movie was amazing but the execution needed a little more work if you ask me.

5/ The Irishman

Okay yeah, this movie was manageable but why was it 4 hours LONG?! What was really the reason? It took me at least two days to watch and finally finish it. There were way too many unnecessary scenes.

6/ Secret Obsession

From the trailer I knew the film was doomed, but against my better judgment I decided to watch it. I knew how it was going to end before it even began so there was absolutely no use finishing it. Can someone tell scriptwriters in Hollywood that we’re tired of movies with this same plot? I kept dozing off. I love Brenda Song, but she deserved a better role.

7/ Cuties

I believe we can all agree that sexualizing children will never ever be okay. Terrible movie.

(It’s no longer available on Netflix Nigeria)

8/ Riverdale

This series actually started off super amazing, and I couldn’t stop watching it. However, after season 2 they lost their damn minds with the dumb twists and turns they started trying out. I gave up after season 3.

9/ 13 Reasons Why

Season 1 was a masterpiece, I cried all through. It taught me so many lessons. I really did love it. The biggest mistake though, was creating other seasons. Why couldn’t it have been a mini series? why did we need other seasons? I really never understood it. It went down will after season 1, in my opinion. I couldn’t even finish the first episode of season 2.

10/ Bird Box

I really disliked this movie and didn’t understand the buzz around it. The plot was very basic and the characters annoyed me because they were always making dumb decisions. I turned it off when I realized they had no intention of explaining how things got to be. I mean, what was the reason for everything that happened in the movie? no explanation whatsoever. I love Sandra Bullock, but this movie was a let down.

I made this same comment about 365 days on my blog and I hated that they extended 13 reasons why… people thought I was hating but producers really need to know when to stop !!!
I can’t wait to make it to the Industry and change things!
