ICYMI – The Ojude Oba Festival 2025 lit up Ijebu Ode and indeed the entire Ogun State in full technicolour. At the heart of the event was Orijin, Nigeria’s leading culturally inspired alcoholic beverage – the exclusive alcoholic beverage sponsor, bringing its bold Afro-urban identity and deep cultural roots to this century-old celebration of Yoruba pride, making it a perfect match for the moment. As anticipated, the various colourful Regberegbe (age-grade groups) made the festival grounds into a cultural parade. At the same time, dignitaries and tourists paid homage to the Awujale of Ijebuland, the revered spiritual and cultural custodian.
In the midst of it all was the lively Orijin’s festival village, working in the spirit of the event, the brand created a dynamic space where young and old could connect with culture in expressive, modern ways. The stage roared with iconic sounds from Saheed Osupa’s Fuji classics to 9ice and Reminisce’s high-energy sets, while guests enjoyed culinary delights, dance competitions, and heritage-themed games, making Orijin Village the festival’s hottest destination..
