This movie is super hilarious and it stars four of some of the greatest actresses; Tiffany Haddish, Regina Hall, Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith. I can’t even begin to explain how chaotic and funny this movie is. Its a perfect film to enjoy with your girlfriends. It’s about four long-time friends who head to New Orleans for a weekend of debauchery. Add dance-offs, bar fights and side-splitting set pieces and you have the perfect film for a rowdy girls’ night in.

Someone Great – 15.5/21
After being dumped by her long-time boyfriend, a music journalist alongside her best friends decide to go on a crazy adventure together to re-find the joys of being single. Starring Lakeith Stanfield and Gina Rodriguez, this movie will bring out so many emotions and will have you craving a major girls night out.

Marriage Story – 17.5/21
Imagine getting married to someone just to later realize that you two aren’t a great match for each other. This movie is about a couple going through a bitter divorce as well as a custody battle. Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson are great in this film. It really shows the crazy and scary part of marriage we all need to see. There’s tears, laughter and anger. An overall great movie.

How To Be Single – 15/21
The title basically sums up the movie. Starring Dakota Fanning and Rebel Wilson, this feel good romantic comedy is about a girl who breaks up with her long term boyfriend to explore new things in her life. I liked it a lot because it was pretty realistic and relatable, and was filled with a lot of hilarious scenes and epic friendship moments that I really enjoyed.

Booksmart – 16.5/21
Two best friends who realize they have had a boring/basic high school experience decide to make the most of their final night before graduating. They watch porn, party on a yacht and have the most memorable night. Its a hilarious movie filled with epic scenes.

Legally Blonde – 20/21
Who doesn’t love Legally Blonde? Starring Reese Witherspoon, its a classic movie about a girl who gets dumped by her boyfriend basically because he believes she isn’t smart enough for him. She is heartbroken at first, but is immediately determined to win Warner (her ex) back by going to Harvard Law School. Her reason for wanting to go to law school at first wasn’t for the best, but it later becomes less about wanting her ex back, and more about getting to know and understand herself better. Its a feel good iconic movie about being your fabulous single self and achieving your goals.

The First Wives Club – 17/21
A classic and timeless movie that every woman will love and be able to relate to. It’s a powerful girl powered comedy full of laughs and feel good moments. This 1996 romantic-comedy film is about three former college friends, Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton and Bette Midler now middle aged wives, who plot revenge on their two-timing husbands. You’ll feel their pain and cheer for them all the way. A must watch!

The Devils Wears Prada – 20/21
I forever and ever will love everything about this movie. Starring Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, this movie is about a young graduate who comes to New York aspiring to be a journalist but becomes an assistant to one of the city’s biggest magazine editors, the ruthless Miranda Priestly. I especially loved this film because in the end, she doesn’t end up with getting a guy. Instead, she learned about herself and accepted change.

Eat Pray Love – 15/21
This might actually be the ultimate single girl movie. Starring Julia Roberts, this film is about a woman who recently gets divorced and it makes her question everything in her life, so she embarks on a journey of self discovery. It is such a meaningful heart-warming movie that everyone needs to have seen at least once. Its relatable and enjoyable and will actually make you question your own life.

Thelma & Louise – 19.5/21
Of course this movie is on the list! This 1991 film is about two strong, independent women whose lives are not focused on finding a partner to complete or fulfill them. The movie however has a lot of twists and turns after they both go on a brief fishing trip. At the end of the movie you will love how fierce they both are, and you will also appreciate their friendship!

Monster-In-Law – 17.5/21
This film was so hilarious and chaotic, I loved every second of it.
It will make you appreciate being single and not having to deal with a mother-in-law, because omo. Starring Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez, this movie is about a woman who finally finds the man of her dreams, but things eventually get out of hand when she meets his crazy mother who is determined to ruin their relationship.
