It’s a few days to December and if you’re anything like me, you’re starting to relax. Doing anything at all has become the biggest chore in the world. All you want to do is lay in bed all day, drink warm coffee, watch cheesy, cringe-worthy Christmas movies and read. If you could, you would read all day, every day.
However, if you really are like me, you’re still working every day, dreaming of the days you don’t have to get up until you feel like it; even if it is 2 pm in the middle of the day. Right now all you’re probably looking for is an escape.
To all my bookworms and all the girlies who would rather run to faraway worlds than face their realities, take the quiz below to find what world is perfect for you(r zodiac sign) to dive into today!

The Gallagher Girls Series
This series is technically for teenage girls. However, I felt it it was perfect for Aries-type people because of they're need for action and lack of care for other people's opinions. The mix of what is sure to be nostalgia for many people reading this book, action and a clear need for deceit would draw any Aries in.
I'm not saying it'll be the best book you ever read, but at this time, it might be the very best book for you. I guarantee that if you let it, it'll at the very least put a small smile on your face and bring you some much needed warmth.
The Colour Purple
The Colour Purple is a true classic which makes it perfect for any Taurus. Not only does it have a compelling and heartbreaking plot, but it's not the easiest read for a lot of people. Taurus' unmoving yet patient nature makes them the ideal sign to tackle a classic such as this. So, if you're stubborn as hell, this your book!
Also! It's queer AF *wink**wink*
The Summer I Turned Pretty
For anyone who enjoy light and breezy reads with a touch of romance, "The Summer I Turned Pretty" by Jenny Han is a delightful choice. This book is like a sweet summer adventure, full of feelings and relationships. It's about a girl's journey during one unforgettable summer, exploring love, friendship, and personal growth.
Geminis, known for their love of variety and social connections, will appreciate the lively characters and the ups and downs of the main character's relationships. The story's easy-flowing style and emotional resonance make it a perfect match for Geminis who enjoy engaging and heartwarming tales that capture the essence of a memorable summer.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugh
For the past year, everytime I'm putting together a book rec piece, I tell myself not to add this book but I fell so completely in love with it that I just can't. Not only is it good-good, it's the perfect book for a Cancer-type person, for a multitude of reasons.
It has the right amount of intensity, there are a lot of feels, a lot of love and dare I say so much history, you feel you're existing in the time it was set in.
A MUST-READ for any and everyone who appreciates Culture and the Film industry, amongst other things!
The Harry Potter Series
I am the OG Harry Potter fan so putting this series for anyone besides Cancer was very heartbreaking. However, as much as I am a die-hard Harry Potter fan(tattoos and all), I am also honest. I'm not in love with Harry Potter and fantasy; including high fantasy because I'm a Cancer. I just love it because I do.
Leo's on the other hand are quite suited to high fantasy and especially Harry Potter. So if you're a Leo or you exhibit Leo traits(which is the only reason you'd be here), what better time is there to read any of these book, if not during Christmas?!
Ikigai
You are super practical and detail oriented. I feel the best book for them is Ikigai. It's a beautiful 'self-help' book that essentially shows you how a portion of Japanese people stay happy and lead healthy, long lives. It shows you how you can do the same.
Americanah
For you, who likes things to be fair and balanced, "Americanah" is a good read. This book talks about identity, where people come from, and how they fit into the world. It's about fairness and how life can be different in different places. The characters in the story try to figure out who they are and what they want, and Libras might like the way the book explores relationships and cultural differences. "Americanah" is like a journey that fits well with a Libra's interest in understanding different points of view and wanting things to be fair and balanced.
Gone Girl
If you love intense and mysterious stories, you should check out "Gone Girl." It's like a really exciting puzzle. The book is about a marriage that gets all messed up, and there are lots of surprising and mysterious things that happen. For Scorpios who enjoy deep and emotional experiences, this story is full of intense moments and unexpected twists that will keep you hooked. "Gone Girl" is like a rollercoaster of secrets and surprises, perfect for Scorpios who love a good mystery and a bit of drama.
Into the Drowning Deep
My dear Sagittarius, lover of intrigue and adventure- this is the book for you! Just read it and thank me later.
Smart Money Woman
I have never met a Capricorn who isn't ambitious to their bone. To me, it's no longer a stereotype, it's a fact. This is your book and if you just want to relax and follow a plot without it seeming like work then girl just watch the show!
In my opinion, they do the same job! Keep you entertained while educating you.
The Divergent Series
My Sci-fi queens, I'm taking you back to 2015. These books were all the rage back then. Everyone who enjoyed reading wanted to quickly finish the books before all the movies were out. I am a massive fan of fantasy and sci-fi genres. These books were everything.
I hope reading it feels like a blast from the past!!
Love is Hard for an Otaku
I found it difficult picking a genre and book for you guys. I mean techniclly you're my sister sign so most of what works for me, might work for you but you just never know.
I decided to go with a Manga(well Manwah) because the biggest Otaku I know is my Pisces sister. We chose a romance book because just like Cancer- type people, ya'll will always love something that puts a little warmth in your hearts. And maybe let's you shed a tear or 2.
