After the Rose sex toy took TikTok by storm late last year, I finally gave in to the pressure and ordered mine on Amazon. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, the Rose is a suction based sex toy that sent social media into a frenzy. Trying out the Rose

So anyway, after closely examining the Rose, it was time to try it out. I was honestly excited because:
- My boyfriend had been away on a business trip so I was as horny as they come and,
- I was curious to see what the hype was all about.
Once it was fully charged, I didn’t waste any time – I used it on my clitoris before I used it anywhere else. The Downside
My major issue with the Rose is how difficult it is to clean. Like I said, it takes the literal shape of a rose making it difficult to really get in there to clean thoroughly so you have to take your time while cleaning this silicone toy.
After using my Rose, I clean it with fragrance-free wipes to remove all bodily fluids, then I use fragrance-free soap and let it sit in lukewarm water (never boiling water!) for a few minutes. I opt for fragrance-free wash because scented soaps have ingredients that can interfere with your vagina’s pH balance, increasing the risk of yeast infections.
After rinsing and cleaning, I dry it with a towel and keep it neatly on my dressing table. Like I said, it’s discreet so no one will ever know.
